Summer Wall Decor, “Exec VP HR Takes Info Dip“
This amusing print, from an original painting, acrylic on masonite, only 7″ x 5″ in dimension, “Exec VP HR Takes Info Dip,” was inspired by a variety of “mixed-bag” experiences with the ever-suspect HR Department– no insult intended, but we all know the not-so-peculiar fascination with data, stories, records, infractions, corrective actions, hires, fires, terminations, special events…that focus on the activities of the Human Resources Department. Here, you see a Senior Exec taking a little break from the daily ruckus.

This series was created in the acknowledgement that data rules our lives, or seems to, at any rate. And isn’t it a credit to any corporate executive to be available, 24/7, all the time, by some means or other. And isn’t it considered a plus when you can seemlessly move across a 24-hour cycle and never miss a phone call, txt, video conference, or email message, just phenomenal! What a valuable skill-set! Even at the beach, where you retreat to get just a sliver of rest before the chaos on most Mondays heats up, again…you are on call, ready to go at a moment’s notice. Astonishing.

Some people detest pixilated images. I am not in this camp. I love pixelated images and have for years. If you’d have any inkling to consider a pixelated view of this painting, you can see it, here, be my guest!
On this hot, humid, mid-July day, 2020, I invite you amidst the pandemic, economic travail, geopolitical upheaval and national strife to reflect, to buy an art print…(have you ever purchased an art print?), to investigate GeorgeDelanyArt… try two neat features on my site:
The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above.
Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff.
This is my “business advice,” for the week– Where do you really relax? Where is the spot, the exact location? What do you do, while there? What form does your most cherished form of relaxation take? Do you “take it with you,” or, do you prefer to just leave it be for a few hours. Worth considering when so many of us are agitated, concerned, worried, frenetic, over-wrought, anxious, perhaps rudderless. Where do you find your recharge, your sustenance, your ‘base-camp’? In my life, there are several such places, but one…is certainly along the majestic ocean’s edge…at the beach.
