Summer Wall Decor, First Amendment

What is more under assault these days than our beloved First Amendment. Tech giants, the politically correct, pockets in academia, cells in Corporate America, elements of the far left, globalists take aim at the bedrock of this country– this may not be your view, but it is mine. I will be posting this image several times between now and November of this year. I see this topic as one worth “going to the matte,” over.

If I can make this poster available to half a million people in the next little while (I would like to take a crack at it), I will…that’s how important I think this topic is, and so I am very grateful to have been able some years ago to come up with this graphic example of Constitutional Wall Art, my own art-print category as far as I can tell.

Below is the spare, graphic work, done in contemporary graphic style and simple red, white and blue, plus black. Note the red and blue are not loud expressions of the colors, but muted in an effort to keep them dignified yet right on topic. This is but one example of wall decor from my Americana Wall Poster Collection, you may wish to check others out.

I am intrigued by this topic, the role of our Founding Fathers, the writing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and generally speaking, how our country came to be. And I have learned lately, this was no easy feat…on the contrary, it was monumental, and if we’re not prepared to fight for it, the whole proposition is very easy to lose. That’s where I am on this topic.

On the cusp of August, astonishingly, I invite you in this heat, amidst the pandemic, economic travail, geopolitical upheaval and national forbearance to reflect, to buy an art print…(have you ever purchased an art print?), to investigate GeorgeDelanyArt try two neat features on my site you may enjoy:

The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above.

Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff.

This is my “business advice,” for the week– We are stewards of great Americans, our Founding Fathers, and grand ideas embodied in our founding documents. They died for us, so that we might inherit the fruits of their efforts. We have inherited the results of their sweat, and the legacy they left us with all its struggles, blemishes, imperfections, trade-offs and compromises such has never been duplicated in the history of civilization. As stewards of the country, now, we common citizens may soon have to engage in the same kind of titanic struggle to ‘build a more perfect union,” to hold on to this legacy as our Founding Fathers had to undertake to give birth to this Nation in the first place. That’s how desperate our adversaries to this legacy appear to be in their determination to bring it all down. I am betting that our will, purpose, courage, integrity, grit and moxie will prevail as was the case upon our Founding. Maybe with this print it is time to think about what we are willing to go to the matte for. What really matters? It may be time.
