Winter Wall Decor: “Florida Beach Poster” one of series
One of the most distinguished of my Beach Poster Series, the Florida Beach Poster…just shipped out to a Florida resident, this week. Thank you! Tube, USPS. Yes, I signed the gentleman’s poster as I customarily do each one. A seal of authenticity is also imprinted on the poster in the lower right corner. Printed on 100 lb. Mohawk Bristol Cover, an excellent grade of paper stock, the colors are silk-screened, rich blue and green with pink complements in the details. Major beaches are identified by number and cross-referenced to a list beneath the State representation, itself.
The posters in this series have a distinctive, unique general appearance, graphic style, call it what you will. But in each case, what truly distinguishes this work is the presence of AUTHENTIC BEACH SAND I gathered from each locality. My screen-printer worked with me very diligently to develop a means of adhering the sand to the poster, highlighting the beaches of the particular State…a lot of fun to puzzle out, I admit. Rhode Island was the original, the prototype for this whole series. It sold out at least two printings and regrettably, is no longer available.
Have you ever purchased a graphic print? Maybe this year, instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. These are all done using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit this site again soon, here in the New Year 2021. I will make every effort to complete your order in a timely manner, despite COVID-related production “issues.”
Check out two unusual features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above.
Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff.
This is my “business advice,” for the week– “Life is better at the beach,‘ we should all strive to make this happen, after 2020, here in a New Year. A simple proposition.
