Winter Wall Art,Search…Hope, Original

Hope: Is a painting of an anonymous person working at a computer screen worth doing, or promoting? How could this be so? I believe the answer is “Yes.” Never in human history has the concept of work, identity, play, leisure, community, faith, humor, culture…any of what we call Culture, been reduced to one primary activity…plunking at keys, using a mouse and gazing at a screen. I find it astonishing, really. More than this, I think there will be some kind of reckoning at some point…when all we ought to have done, might have done, should have done, would better have done…will call out to us as if to say…”Where were you?”

“Search…Hope, Original,” acrylic on canvas, George Delany

This painting is one of a series of three from my “Faith, Hope, and Charity,” trio. This being “Hope,” leaves the other two, “Faith” and “Charity“– I call Charity… Love. So this is part of the Faith, Hope and Love series. Each painting is 48″ x 36,” acrylic on canvas, ready to hang. Limited edition prints are available, too.

Have you ever purchased a graphic print? Maybe this year, instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. These are all done using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit this site  here often in the New Year 2021. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. I will make every effort to complete your order in a timely manner, despite COVID-related production “issues.”

Check out two unusual features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above.

Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff.

Check out the several categories of original art and prints on my site; Instagram pixphotospaintingsillustrationslimited editionsoriginal painted works and Americana posters.

This is my “business advice,” for the week: “Faith, Hope, and Charity, that’s the way to live successfully…how do I know? The Bible tells me so.” This is a song, a jingle from my youth. This was a popular song! It resonated in this society. I remember it fondly. Now, in this day and age, the whole idea is largely mocked and ridiculed, most especially by the cognoscenti, the usual suspects. But I tell you, the more it is mocked, the more worthy the whole idea becomes, the more vital, the more appealing and the more relevant. Disagree– I don’t mind. But in this world, in this country, in this country, right now, few things make any real sense from day-to-day. This is one central idea…and ideal, really, that does. Faith, Hope, Charity.

Here is another blog post from my art site…
