Summer Art “One Lone Lily”
In a sea of summer green, one gorgeous, lone lily stands out. After all this rain, an apt image for late July. Here, the image hangs in a purported living room setting; against a plain, dark wall color, the brilliant greens set off the yellow flower in a most delightful fashion, don’t you think. I was fortunate to be on the spot…to simply click my iPhone and record. This print is one of a series on Lillies in my photo collections– a favorite summer subject, to be sure.
Below, you see the same image in a bedroom setting, a similarly dark wall color sets forth the brilliance of both the greens and yellows…just above the bed, a romantic image, in my view. As you peruse any of these selections, please remember, do not hang your digital prints in direct sunlight or even bright light. A more diminished light will add years to the life of your print.
