Summer Wall Art, “Star-Spangled Banner“
We are back, after a summer reprieve, and pleased to be so. What a tumultuous time over just a few short weeks. In honor of the 20th Remembrance of the horrors of 9.11.01, I am representing this cornerstone image, the most popular Americana Collection poster of all, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” in memory of the slaughtered, the families, first-responders, health-care, military and all those who helped us survive and come together during that fateful period, still playing out in our lives and consciousness. It was this horrific event that led to the design of the original series of “Who We Are,” Americana Posters, and to what have followed, since that time.

Below, you see the same image as might be applied to a small-business office, or to any business office, for that matter. Small businesses have been especially hard-hit since the arrival of the WuHan Virus, so perhaps it is especially fitting to call upon an image that for so many will help bolster our resolve and faith to see this period of American history thru to a more rewarding time, for all.

Question for you: Have you ever purchased a graphic print? Maybe right now, this summer, instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. These are all produced using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the year moves toward the fall season. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. In a post-pandemic period, what better way to celebrate than…with a late-summer, early-fall art print…perhaps even a gift to a friend or relative.
Two unusual and decidedly helpful features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above.
Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff.
Check out several categories of original art and prints on my site; Instagram pix, photos, paintings, illustrations, limited editions, original painted works and Americana posters.
“Business Advice” for day: I am reluctant to offer advice, these days. But the idea of holding fast to our national ideals thru thick and thin, against any and all who would attack our bedrock, is a compelling calling I intend to accept now and in the future. Call me any name in the book– it won’t make a shred of difference. Recall the adage from second grade? “Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me,” do they teach this, anymore? In this spirit, I am always happy to present the wall decor, the posters that comprise my Americana Collection.
Here in mid-September, with summer winding down, a special thanks for your interest and support of my work.
