Fall Wall Decor “Maine Lobster Buoys in Fall”
One spanking cold day in fall while visiting family in York Harbor, Maine, I found myself out on the coast in front of this buoy shed. Click. Somehow it seems to capture the clean air, the brilliant colors, the coming season…amidst the work of humankind evidenced by the buoys hanging on the side of the shed. Here is “Maine Lobster Buoys in Fall.”

Here in a setting more like a living room, the wall color changes from dark to light, but the color remains in the blue family though of a very different value. Values often mean the difference between good…and really unusual, do they not? “Maine Lobster Buoys in Fall,” from my Photographic Gallery.

Question for you: Have you ever purchased a graphic print? Maybe right now, this fall, instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Remember, too, the gift-giving season is just ahead. Slowdowns are expected this year. Product availability is difficult. Off-shore container ships are backed up for weeks. Our so-called supply chain is hurting. So perhaps it is a good time to order your art prints now.
Prints are all produced using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the year moves toward a new beginning in 2022. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. In our post-pandemic period, what better way to celebrate than…with a fall art print…perhaps even a gift to a friend or relative.
Two unusual and decidedly helpful features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above. Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff, an under-appreciated feature.
Check out several categories of original art and prints on my site; Instagram pix, photos, paintings, illustrations, limited editions, original painted works and Americana posters.
“Business Advice” for day: Diligence pays off. In mid-October, there are myriad chores to do before the cold weather arrives. We relish both the temperatures and colors, during this beautiful stretch of the year. Cleaning up the beehives, the barn, the property…stacking wood, cleaning the woodstove, the basement, the property, securing windows, filling the tank– would like to keep the furnace off for as long as possible. A little effort now will bring assurances for the harsh winter, ahead. But selecting some fall photo prints is in the mix. What sorts of images do you hang in fall?
I extend a special thanks for your interest and support of my work. Let’s carry on!
