Winter Art, “Amazing Grace

This is a time for Grace, is it not? A virus grips the world. Countries are armed to the teeth. Even Space is a war zone, now. Debt threatens many nations. Crypto Currency mystifies everyone but the young. Pollution chokes essential biological systems. And we continue to do today what we did yesterday. In this, an election year, given the rhetoric we can expect, and many varieties of BS, yes, this is a time for Grace. Here is a print from my Americana Collection, “Amazing Grace,” designed after the attack of 9.11.01.

Below, see the same image in the bedroom. This image deserves a space on the bedroom wall, don’t you think? Grace…in the bedroom? Yes, I think so. Note, the wall-color changes, but the print and frame are the same.

Question for you: Have you ever purchased a graphic print? Maybe right now, still early in the winter season– instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Lift someone’s spirits! Consider an art print…as a gift to a friend, today.

Prints are all produced using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the year moves into the New Year, 2022. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you.  In our ongoing pandemic period, what better way to celebrate than…with a winter art print…perhaps a gift to a friend or relative.

Two unusual and decidedly helpful features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above. Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff, an under-appreciated feature.

Check out several categories of original art and prints on my site; Instagram pixphotospaintingsillustrationslimited editionsoriginal painted works and Americana posters.

“Business Advice” for day: Advent has come and gone. Christmas, the Christmas story has come and gone. Now, we find ourselves in the Season of Epiphany, the time of the year when the story of the Christ Child unfolds in a surprising way. Is there such a time and place in your life for the Season of Epiphany? Isn’t this possibility related to Grace operating in the world? I would argue, yes, Grace has a lot to do with the arrival of Epiphany. This is the season of New Beginnings, leading up to Spring, which celebrates the rebirth of life, of the season, of the world. It is not too simple an idea to suggest that both in our business lives and personal lives, New Beginnings is a big topic, an important topic, that begs our personal involvement, commitment, even passion. Time to get to it!

Winter settles in. Ponds and lakes freeze, finally. Honey Bees work feverishly to generate enough heat to survive to Spring. Humankind hunkers down in a time of extended Pandemic to make ends meet, in many cases. Governments are confused and belligerent in their efforts to push citizens around in the name of safety, of course. Confusion, even ignorance permeates those who run our schools, our agencies of Government and our political elites. Grounding to underlying ideas, key concepts, fundamental principles seems a bit thin, these days. But a reawakening is coming. This house-of-cards will fail. We will get another crack at rebuilding our society. Whether in personal or business life, time to keep the Faith.

I extend a special thanks for your interest and support of my work. Let’s carry on!
