Spring Wall Decor “Central Church Window, Detail“

The image is one I took one morning when the sun beamed in thru the eastern transept and lit up this exquisite window. The image here is only part of the entirety, the whole of which expresses the dawn of life, the rising of the Spirit in the person of Jesus Christ, surrounded by Disciples-as-Angels, the Alpha. The work you see here depicted in this photo is authentic and magnificent stained-glass. I am honored to present this print. Across the sanctuary is the Omega, an expression of the Heavenly Realm, but I will save this for another post. Below is another splendid choice of a new print for Easter, for Spring, from John 13:34. The graphic style is one I have developed to call attention to the scriptures, favorite verses I have chosen to try to express in purely typographic terms, and color. See if it may appeal to you. Question for you: Have you ever purchased a graphic print? An art print? Maybe right now, here in advance of the arrival of Easter – instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Or, how about a Honey-Bee print? Lift someone’s spirits! Giving art, to give prints can be a joyful experience…even in a dismal time such as now. When I give a print, it most assuredly is a joyful experience. In these trying times, think about giving an art print this Easter season.
Prints are all produced using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the new year moves into latter February. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. As the Pandemic seems for the moment to wind down (before the next variant arrives?) what better way to celebrate than…with an early spring art print…a lighthouse print, perhaps, or a poster with a patriotic theme, or a Honey-Bee print; not bad gift choices for a friend or relative.

“Business Advice” for day: Isn’t Spring in a sense a time of Hope, in essence? Against the backdrop of terrible news of war, inflation, invasion of our southern border, of duplicities here, there and everywhere, it would seem, doesn’t Spring bring with it in this Easter Season like a candle in the dark the sense that life does begin anew? There is a new beginning? Birds around here certainly seem to think so. Honey-bees return now with fresh spring pollen and nectar, Queen Bees prepare to lay eggs through the summer and into fall. Despite the ubiquitous, bad news, let’s take our cues from the natural world, and in my case, from the Christian tradition of Easter, which is about eternal life when all the trials of this world have passed. I would offer this; whether in business or in personal life, Hope is one of the alluring themes of this still-young, Spring season.
Probably a little lucky if your Easter print arrives in time, now. But please, give it a try. You may discover prints of a religious nature in order, even after the Easter Season.
