Spring Art Print, “Boy in the Hood 1“
Some years ago, in celebration of the chicks we’ve raised on this property, I completed a series of original acrylic paintings on wooden shingles. Small, measuring 7″ x 5″ approximately, these images were painted in acrylic. Thanks to the miracle of digital technology, these images can be well-reproduced on a variety of material including various paper types, finishes, canvas, acrylic, aluminum and even wood. Check this out. You can customize your print as you place the order, right from my site. Here is an example, “Boy in the Hood 1.” In tribute to these wonderful animals, a first promotional video has been completed, here, also new for you to explore.

Below, you see another from this series, “My Golden Fluffball,” also acrylic paint on a wood shingle, converted now to digital prints. Then, there is Rocko, who ruled the coop for some time before being overthrown by his sons in a palace coup, one fine day. This is “My Big Boy 1,” one of my favorites. If you like the vibe of these painted images, if your walls call out for a certain kind of “rural art,” or “natural art,” or “farm art,” or “chicken art,” you may find one of these images a real contribution.

Question for you: Have you ever purchased a graphic print? An art print? A photo print? Maybe right now, here just after Easter – instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Or, how about a Honey-Bee print? Lift someone’s spirits! Giving art, to give prints can be a joyful experience…even in trying times… such as now. When I give a print, it most assuredly is a joyful experience! In these trying, tumultuous times, think about giving an art print, this Spring Season.
Prints are all produced using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the new year moves into latter April. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. As the Pandemic seems for the moment to wind down (before the next variant arrives?) what better way to celebrate than…with a spring art print…a lighthouse print, perhaps, or a poster with a patriotic theme, or a Honey-Bee print; not bad gift choices for a friend or relative!
Two unusual and decidedly helpful features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above. Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff, an under-appreciated feature.
Check out several categories of original art and prints on my site; Instagram pix, photos, paintings, illustrations, limited editions, original painted works and Americana posters.
In my Americana Poster Gallery you may find other visual selections that resonate with your Spring state-of-being, please take a look. “Can you brand my posters?” Yes, I can brand these posters for you – contact me (#brandednonprofits seems to work). Your logo can be added to the lower right corner of each poster. I will show you a proof prior to production. #brandednonprofits
Exhibit Page, New! If you haven’t yet seen it, I invite you to peruse my new Exhibit page, purposed to show off to best advantage how some of my original images appear when matted, framed and hung on the wall! This will be an expanding feature of my site.
“Business Advice” for day: Here in the after-high of Easter, there is a certain sunny, rested attitude in the air, this morning. Sun shines, birds build their nests, Honey-bees are cranking up their act, I am ostensibly cleaning up my yard, the garden waits to be tilled, so much to do beginning with each Spring morning. That we should approach each day in our ‘business lives’ with the same callings, yearnings, hopes and aspirations! Here’s to the promise of Easter, today!
You may find my new NFT art of interest (“Non-fungible tokens”), seen here on Rarible. Have fun building your print collection this year. This is all viewable on Linktr.ee. A special thanks for your interest and support of my work.
