Spring Wall Decor “First Amendment Poster“
Been awhile since I have highlighted this particular image, “First Amendment Poster.” But given times, given attacks on Free Speech, given equivocations emanating from some of the most privileged, powerful, crooked people I can imagine, thought it useful to take another look at this image, one that frames up our Five Freedoms in simple, elegant, and timely terms. For the dim, and anyone else who may have forgotten, or be otherwise interested, these would include a) Freedom of Religion b) Freedom of the Speech c)Freedom of the Press d) Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and e) Freedom to Redress Grievances. What a beautiful document this is– and it gets even more so as the attacks grow in desperation and ferocity.
Isn’t it fascinating to note the complaints against Elon Musk as he attempts to buy Twitter, outright. The charges to my mind one more time reflect exactly behaviors and conditions created by those leveling the charges. I won’t get into it except to stay I hope the man pushes this deal into the ‘Done’ zone as soon as possible. My sentiments are— the sooner the leftist media monopoly on language, speech, thought, freedom of expression, education and political correctness is broken, the stronger our democratic republic will become, and more vibrant, more resourceful, more determined, and better able to move clearly and purposefully into the 21st Century. In the spirit of “Unalienable Rights,” meaning, those not conferred to us by Government, here is this poster, one of many from my Americana Poster Prints gallery.
Here is a demonstration of the graphic clarity of this poster as it appears in context, meaning, as it is seen on a wall. Bear in mind, you can use two features that exist on my site to imagine how this poster might appear on YOUR wall, very exciting attributes of the site— see below.
Question for you: Have you ever purchased a graphic print? An art print? A photo print? Maybe right now, here as April winds down – instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Or, how about a Honey-Bee print? Lift someone’s spirits! Giving art, to give prints can be a joyful experience…even in trying times… such as now. When I give a print, it is most assuredly a joyful experience! In these trying, tumultuous times, think about giving an art print this Spring Season.
Prints are all produced using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the new year moves toward the beginning of May. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. As the Pandemic seems for the moment to have wound down (before the next variant arrives?) what better way to celebrate than…with a spring art print…a lighthouse print, perhaps, or a poster with a patriotic theme, or a Honey-Bee print; not bad gift choices for a friend or relative!
Two unusual and decidedly helpful features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above. Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff, an under-appreciated feature.
Brand Your Posters: In my Americana Poster Gallery you may find other visual selections that resonate with your Spring state-of-being, please take a look. “Can you brand my posters?” Yes, I can brand these posters for you – contact me with questions. In short, your logo can be added to the lower right corner of each poster. I will show you a proof prior to production. #brandednonprofits
Exhibit Page, New! Am pleased to invite you to peruse my new Exhibit page, purposed to show off to best advantage how some of my original images appear when matted, framed and hung on the wall! This will be an expanding feature of my site.
“Business Advice” for day: I notice the North Korean leader has warned its people of “imminent nuclear war.” Russia and Belarus practice jet flights and attack patterns, together. Norway and Finland want into NATO. Putin threatens everyone with everything. Our media tell us we have a great Government and the economy is roaring. If things aren’t great, it must be Donald Trump’s fault, they often repeat. Times are plainly weird, if not actually disturbingly “locked and loaded.” And yet, honey-bees are happy and busy day and night. Robins, Chickadees, Titmice, Bluebirds, local Cardinals, even Finches now, all build their nests feverishly every day, around here. The local Doe is becoming an adult deer–she visits here, once in awhile. My gardens still wait to be tilled. Grass needs to be cut and raked. Dandelions and Daffodils are in peak season. Rhododendron buds are large, now. Spring unfolds, it is a truly beautiful and blessed time of year. Is it possible to look upon our personal and professional lives with the same optimism and hope we witness in the natural world? I think, in the aftermath and Spirit of Easter, the answer is yes.
You may find my new NFT art of interest (“Non-fungible tokens”), seen here on Rarible. Have fun building your print collection this year. This is all viewable on Linktr.ee. A special thanks for your interest and support of my work.
