Spring Art PrintNewport Country Club

Newport is especially beautiful in Spring, and then Summer, when oceans warm, beaches fill up, and golf-links are challenging and picturesque, to say the least. Here is a view of the Newport Country Club, as I imagine it. In the foreground is a young golfer who, using his phone, attempts (using GPS features) to hone-in his approach shot to the green, just ahead. I have added some of my squares to mark the time and place in pixillation history, and as a device to call out in pixel form the color palette of the painting– still a device I am attracted to since we now live in a world where images don’t just appear, they are constructed for a time, then deconstructed, and are gone. “Newport Country Club,” is a favorite of mine.

Below, you see the limited edition print– or, the original, as it might appear in a summer living room; light, open, airy, with the 18th hole off in the distance. Harkens back to the period when I’d drop off my younger son at the end of the lane, and he’d saunter up to the clubhouse in anticipation of caddying a round of golf, or two on a beautiful summer day– how gorgeous those times and places were. So, I have a personal stake in this view, this perspective and this scene at the Newport Country Club.

Question for you: Have you ever purchased a graphic print? An art print? A photo print? Maybe right now, here as this most beautiful month of May settles in – instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Or, how about a Honey-Bee print? Or, a golf print? Lift someone’s spirits! Giving art, to give prints can be a joyful experience…even in trying times… such as now. When I give a print, it is most assuredly a joyful experience! In these testy, tumultuous times, think about giving an art print this Spring Season

Prints are all produced using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the new year moves toward mid-beautiful-May. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. As the Pandemic seems for the moment to have wound down (before the next variant arrives?) what better way to celebrate than…with a spring art print…a lighthouse print, perhaps, or a poster with a patriotic theme, or a Honey-Bee print, or golf print…not bad gift choices for a friend or relative!

Two unusual and decidedly helpful features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above. Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff, an under-appreciated feature.

Check out several categories of original art and prints on my site; Instagram pixphotospaintingsillustrationslimited editionsoriginal painted works and Americana posters.

Yes, You Can Brand Your Posters: Memorial Day approaches! Order now and receive your USA poster print in time for the holiday. In my Americana Poster Gallery you may find visual selections that resonate with your Spring state-of-being. Please take a look. To the question, “Can you brand my posters?” the answer is yes. Yes, I can brand these posters for you – contact me with questions. In short, your logo can be added at a discrete size to the lower right corner of each poster. I will show you a proof prior to production. #brandednonprofits I will be in corporation to help organizations identify this program.

Exhibit Page, New! Thank you for your enthusiastic support of my new Exhibit page, designed to show off to best advantage how some of my original images appear when matted, framed and hung on the wall! This will be an expanding feature of my site.

“Business Advice” for day: For the first time, our grass is cut. Lots of hedge, brush and weeds have been trimmed, cut, raked and deposited into the compost heap. The compost heap is growing, a good sign, this time of year. Where do you think the seeds of new growth are to be found, nourished and cultivated? In the compost. Think about it. Waste as a function of nutrient for the present, and the future. This is almost too big a thought for my simple head, but I do grasp it, and do practice the idea. The other side of this is…that we don’t want to contaminate the compost. We don’t want plastics, junk, poisons of any kind in the compost pile. We don’t throw flowers or brush that have been sprayed with insecticide, fungicide, herbicide, into the compost pile. The compost pile is as natural and pure and uncontaminated as any square inch of land that makes up this property. Isn’t it true in growing a business, you don’t want to contaminate the process, the skills, the products or people necessary to see it prosper? You want to avoid rot, degradation, spoilage. So this week, I have the compost heap of life very much on my mind.

You may find my new NFT art of interest (“Non-fungible tokens”), seen here on Rarible. More to come, a new collection in development as this is written. Have fun building your print collection this year. Try a new print purchase…this Spring! This is all viewable on Linktr.ee. A special thanks for your interest and support of my effort.
