Summer Art Print “Great Point Light”
This original shingle painting, “Great Point Light,” is being varnished in preparation for inclusion into an exhibit that will essentially provide a fund-raising opportunity for a Massachusetts non-profit later this summer. Though not available as a print on my website, it is one of the family of such lighthouse paintings I completed in acrylic paint, each one on a wood shingle, some years ago.
Below, see the finished shingle mounted and ready to drop off for the fund-raiser exhibit. I don’t normally sell originals such as this shingle painting but in this case, the shingle itself will be for sale. More information on the nature of the fund-raiser at a later date. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. As the Pandemic seems for the moment to have wound down (we hear rumblings…) what better way to celebrate than with a spring art print, a lighthouse print, perhaps, or a poster with a patriotic theme, or a Honey-Bee print, or golf print…not bad gift choices for a friend or relative!

Exhibit Page, New! Thank you for your steadfast, enthusiastic support of my new Exhibit page, designed to show off to best advantage how examples of my original images appear when matted, framed and hung on the wall! I have added new examples every now and again and will continue to expand this feature of my site in months, just ahead.

“Business Advice” for day: Can a trip to the beach be seen as a reward for having slogged thru the week? I think so. Is there a comparable experience in the business world? I think so. A family member has had a grueling week, and today he is walking the beach on Long Island with his once-stray dogs…certainly a kind of compensation for his own grueling week in the business world. I am glad for him…and would wish for anyone a restorative experience after grappling with the realities of business in any given week.
