Summer Art Print “Sailor Off Newport“
Yes, we’ve returned from the wilds of Southern Ontario, lake country, where we took a bit of a summer break. Here is a photo I took one evening as we explored abandoned farms in the area. There is always a magic, a charm, a wonder, a melancholy about this sort of experience. Who lived here? How long? What did they do? What happened? The exercise keeps you on your toes. We had a good time, and now, we’re back!
Find some summer art print ideas here at my Paint Print Gallery. You won’t see any paintings of scenes in Southern Ontario…yet.

Below is another summertime photo taken of my wildflower garden in its second summer, before we left for summer vacation. This garden was a complete surprise this year. The whole thing I left fallow over the winter months. In Spring, I dug up rows and spaces between rows, cleaned out weeds and debris, and then just let the garden grow. What you see here is a host of blossoms that wintered over, only to come into full bloom in June– what a glorious site. Now, this garden is quite overgrown and needs a weeding and a watering, badly. Here is a photo more typical of my summer time print offerings, see this link to view additional possibilities.

Question for you: Have you ever purchased a single graphic print? An art print? A photo print? Maybe right now, here as this mid-summer month of August unfolds – instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Or, how about a Honey-Bee print? Or, a golf print? A lighthouse print? Lift someone’s spirits! Giving art, to give a print can be a joyful experience…even in trying times… such as now. When I give a print, it is most assuredly a joyful experience! In these testy, tumultuous times, think about giving an original print, this summer.

Above, you see a print in a living room setting…of “First Beach, Newport.” This is one of my more popular Newport, Rhode Island paintings. I am always glad to offer it as a summer print selection.
Prints are all produced using high-quality materials– pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the new year moves thru summer, and now, into fall. Buy a print every now and again, one that moves you. As the Pandemic seems for the moment to have wound down (we hear rumblings…) what better way to celebrate than with a summer art print, a lighthouse print, perhaps, or a poster with a patriotic theme, or a Honey-Bee print, or golf print…not bad gift choices for a friend or relative!
Customize your selection. Two unusual and decidedly helpful features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above. Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff, an under-appreciated feature.
Check out several categories of original art and prints on my site; Instagram pix, photos, paintings, illustrations, limited editions, original painted works and Americana posters.
“Can I brand my Americana posters?” To this question, the answer is decidedly, yes. Yes, I can brand these posters for you – contact me with questions. In short, your logo can be added at a discrete size to the lower right corner of each poster. I will show you a proof prior to production. #brandednonprofits is the hashtag I will incorporate to try to identify this program, on-line. Good anytime of year.
Exhibit Page, New! Thank you for your steadfast, enthusiastic support of my new Exhibit page, designed to show off to best advantage how examples of my original images appear when matted, framed and hung on the wall! I have added new examples every now and again and will continue to expand this feature of my site
“Business Advice” for day: Having been away for a month where we stayed in a secluded area, I can say that it does the mind, heart and soul good to wind down for a period of time, to get off news, information, data, ideas and notions churning this way and that. It is so delightfully resting to simply slow down, to do nothing, to procrastinate, to ruminate, to reflect, to watch Nature in action, the beaver who swam by my feet, the owl that walked on my cabin roof, the Green Bass we witnessed reeled in from the shallows of the lake; the sun coming up over the water, and setting behind us in the evening. The whole rhythm of life changed for a month, and I am slower and rested, now, ready to return to the fray. I would wish a similar experience in rest and relaxation for you reading this text, right now.
Have some creative fun building your print collection this year. In what remains of August, try a new Americana Poster print purchase…this summer. And do see my new promotional video on Youtube! In this season of chicks and chickens, take a look– if you like the idea of Chicken art.
Contact points are all viewable on Linktr.ee. A special thanks for your interest and support of my effort.
