Fall Art PrintsTidal Pond Wonder

While walking along the shore of a tidal pond in York, Maine, one fall afternoon, I passed the most delightful, simple scene just off my shoulder to the right. I snapped this photo, one that captures the day, season and moment pretty well! Today, still in mid-October, the colors all about are bright, beautiful and beguiling just as they appeared in this brilliant tidal-pond scene on that day. October print suggestion, “Tidal Pond Wonder,” as seen here. Other fall scenes can be viewed in my Instagram Gallery.

Below, my original, “Tidal Pond Wonder,” in all its simplicity. I added the border as it reminds me of all those Rolleiflex images I took thru many years, and how each image would come up in the film frame identified, in detail…just a graphic throw-back, honestly. The color of the type, the iconography and the leaves below tie together in a harmonious composition. Confess, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for this magnificent camera and its unparalleled lense– one that sits in this digital age on my shelf, these days.

Question for you: Have you ever purchased a single graphic print? An art print? A photo print? Maybe right now, here as fall is upon us – instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Or, how about a Honey-Bee print? Or, a golf printA lighthouse print? Lift someone’s spirits! Giving art, to give a print can be a joyful experience…even in trying times… such as now. When I give a print, it is most assuredly a joyful experience! In these testy, tumultuous times, think about giving an original print this fall.

As displayed, ‘Tidal Pond Wonder,” from my Instagram Gallery

Above, a look at this October print idea, “Tidal Pond Wonder,” as it appears on a wall…a view that sets off the colors at an entirely workable scale.

Materials: Prints are all produced using high-quality materials; pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, as the new year moves thru fall to the end of the year, 2022. Suggestion, you purchase a new print every now and again, one that moves you. As the Pandemic seems for the moment to have wound down (we hear new rumblings…) what better way to celebrate than with a fall art print, a lighthouse print, perhaps, or a poster with a patriotic theme, or a Honey-Bee print, or golf print…unique gift choices for a friend or relative!

Customize your selection. Two unusual and decidedly helpful features on my art site: The first– WALL Preview, a capability that visualizes your art selection in your specifications as seen in different settings; living room, bedroom, sitting room, conference room, these sorts of things, as referenced, above. Secondly, the Live Augmented Reality feature that allows you to see your chosen art work on YOUR wall…in your setting. Pretty exciting stuff, an under-appreciated feature. Then, you can choose your size, your material, your matte, your frame and your hanging hardware…right from my site, right here…a simple proposition. Your selected print will arrive ready to hang.

While you are at it, check out several categories of original art and prints on my site; Instagram pixphotospaintingsillustrationslimited editionsoriginal painted works and Americana posters.

Americana Posters: “Can I brand my Americana posters?” To this question, the answer is decidedly, yesYes, I can brand these posters for you – contact me with questions. In short, your logo can be added at a discrete size to the lower right corner of each poster. I will show you a proof prior to production. #brandednonprofits, #brandedposters and #brandedcorporateposters are hashtags I will incorporate to try to identify this program, on-line. Good anytime of year.

Exhibit Page, New! Thank you for your steadfast, enthusiastic support of my Exhibit page, designed to show off to best advantage how examples of my original George Delany Art images appear when matted, framed and hung on the wall. I add new examples every now and again and will continue to expand this feature of my site

“Business Advice” for day: You may know…I don’t like the idea of giving business advice, these days. Times are so trying. So many small businesses struggle mightily or have failed, or are failing. We are told every day that with the Ukrainian war, energy supplies in Ukraine, in Europe and here at home will all suffer this winter, so we brace for the months just ahead. The idea of “running out” of gas, home heating fuel or electricity sounds positively perverse, and yet, here we are. I remain drawn to the idea of trying to make work what we can, in the best ways we know how. With our mid-term elections only a couple of weeks away, now, we also brace for any and all sorts of political shenanigans that may likely unfold in these days leading up to the event, itself. Don’t we all want the best for our Country? I used to believe this the case, but these days, signals, noises, themes, events, essays, general static in the air suggests some of us are no longer interested in this idea. I reject this notion, entirely. Here is a series of print images for those who believe in and support a new, reinvigorated, revitalized USA.

Build your collection? Have some creative fun building your print collection this year. This fall, try a new Americana Poster print purchase. And do see my promotional video on Youtube! Don’t overlook… chicks and chickens – if you like the idea of Chicken art. With the holiday season just ahead, now is the time to order your holiday prints, sure to be received as the unique, unusual images they are. Take advantage of my Fall Sale, currently available. 20% off first print…with your email sign-up.

Contact points are all viewable on A special thanks for your interest and support of my effort.
