Winter Wall Decor “Central Church Window Detail“
This is one of the finest examples of stained glass I have ever seen. The image is a detail of the entire stained glass panel, one that tells the story of “The Beginning,” “The Alpha,” the arrival of the Christ in human affairs. After many years, when the sun rises from the east in the morning and this glass window is all lit up, I never cease to be moved by the shear artistry in the expression. Prints sold utilizing this image will mean a significant contribution to my church to benefit the Gallery Committee, celebrating local artists and their work. Your enthusiasm and support is always welcomed.
By comparison, below, please see the famous verse from John 3:16 expressed typographically– no images of any sort other than type, to convey the meaning and spirit of the culmination of Advent and the arrival of the Christ. This is but one in a series of typographic studies designed to exemplify meaning in both the old and new testaments. Images such as this reproduce well on paper, canvas, and also acrylic and Aluminum.

“Business Advice” for day: I don’t have any business advice this week, except to say, slow down, step back, take a deep breath, sit by the fire, pick up a good book, mix up some warm cider with rum, or perhaps a glass of Egg Nog, and meditate a moment on the reason for this season. I would observe the condition of our world to be approximately what it was at the time of the arrival of Christ all those 2000+ years ago. I intend to do just this, beginning tomorrow.
