Winter art prints “Snowy Lane“
As Valentine’s Day approaches, have you selected a gift for your special someone? Now is a good time to just get it done! Here are a couple of prints, winter prints, that may serve your print purposes, this season. There are several strong contenders in this collection, one that is seen in my Photo Prints Gallery. As you notice, some of these prints are picture-post card in their style and presentation. Others, such as the one below, are more abstract in their portrayal of winter. In this, the color, striations of tone and composition make it a very refreshing commentary on the nature of winter– I would hope!

Note also, that the color palette in the print goes very well with narrow palettes of wall decor, perhaps dark, or even neutral in their overall expression….as well as in colorful room environments where the black-and-white characteristic of the image is dramatically contrasted against any color in the room.
Question for you: For any occasion, have you ever purchased a single, original, graphic print? An art print? A photo print? Probably not. Most haven’t, in my view. Maybe right now, here, still early in this new year – instead of just another commercial gadget, you might consider a different kind of gift, an art print. Or, should you be in the humor for a very different sort of image, how about a Honey-Bee print? Or, a golf print? A lighthouse print? In February 2023, most especially, lift someone’s spirits! Giving art, to give a print can be a joyful experience…even in trying times… such as now. When I give a print, it is most often a joyful experience. In these testy, tumultuous times, think about giving an original print especially in light of our now finding ourselves about half way through the winter season.
Materials: Prints are all produced using high-quality materials; pigments, papers and framing materials. I invite you to visit often, now, as seed catalogs arrive in the mail, auguring in an exciting season, just ahead. What better way to celebrate this winter season than…by purchasing a lighthouse print, or a poster with a patriotic theme, or a Honey-Bee print, or golf print…unique gift choices for any friend or relative, perhaps…a Veteran?

“Business Advice” for day: Lent is not too far off. Lent for me is a season of reflection, of self-evaluation, of examining life and preparing, in anticipation of the coming of the Lord on Easter Sunday and all this holds for Christians, the world over. So we hold in our imaginations a number of ideas in motion at this time of year….winter passing, winter weather, seed catalogs arriving, Lent about to arrive, the lengthening of days. We hold all this and much more in our heads…at once, do we not? In business, as in life, similarly introspective steps must take place to stay on top of almost any business circumstance. What is it now, today, that must be done to ensure not only survival, but prosperity?
