Winter Art Prints “Pell Bridge in Winter“
We all know this image in summer, do we not? Brilliant sky, blazing water, boats in harbor, unquestionably a romantic summer setting, most typically. But here is a nice print for your collection depicting the famous Pell Bridge…in winter! Note the cool wintery palette, the sense of cold bluster in the air, the vast expanse of brutal ice…as far as the eye can see, and not a soul in sight. Below is the actual image enlarged so you can better see details in the work, itself. The original painting is just a small study in acrylics on a masonite board. And yet, given the power of this digital technology, a handsome print can be created.

“Business Advice” for day: Although Linked-sIn likes articles posted that pertain to business, I do not. So this paragraph is never really a natural given my own predispositions. And at a time when most probably don’t have much in the way of discretionary money to buy art, I will venture a point to make– art, as in life, even business life, is a question of what moves you. Pick something here you like. Pick it because it moves you. Pick it because you derive something of benefit, something positive from the work itself…all other considerations, aside. Make it a conscious and deliberate choice, willfully executed in the name of bringing you a moment of satisfaction or whatever it is that explains your being drawn to the work. Business often requires the same kind of blind commitment, commitment based on faith, commitment to some outcome that may be unattainable, or may not. You go with it.
